Progressive metal veterans DREAM THEATER have announced BLACK CLOUDS & SILVER LININGS as the title of their tenth studio album.

The track listing is as follows:

マイ・フェイバリット・バンドであるドリ虫の新譜が出るんですわ。
なんだろうかこのアルバムタイトルは？黒い雲と銀色の裏地？そんなわけないよな。
調べてみました。

– Every cloud has a silver lining –
every difficult or sad situation has a comforting or more hopeful aspect
even though this may not be immediately apparent

てな具合で、要するに「楽あれば苦あり」的な諺だと思われ。
そこからアルバムタイトルは来たんだろうけど、なかなかいい感じっすね。
ネットじゃジャケットが絶賛されてますけど、個人的にはそうは思わんねぇ。
でも名盤AWAKEを思い起こさせ、期待させる何かを持ってはいますな。
6/23発売ということで待ちきれない今日この頃。
だけど、のんびり聴く暇があるのかはまったくもって謎であります。
